Gordon Soundscape

Field recordings from the former Gordon District of Aberdeenshire, part of Pete Stollery’s celebration of a sonically rich landscape. The collection frames one body of work for listeners: a public collection on AudioSpaces that can be shared, cited, and revisited between walks and performances. Pins on a walkable map let people listen near them or from anywhere. Layer public recordings into a playable world, or encounter them one by one in the list. Gordon on air weaves the same material into shows built from existing AudioSpaces and soundscapes. The project is a listening invitation to a place that is as much heard as seen.
